Notes on image variables deleted

I'm using VariableImporter to load a csv, and I'm using "Notes" to match my columns to objects. My file includes two image variables. Everything works correctly -- that is, the images load into their objects -- but every time the script finishes, the text I had placed in the "Notes" of the two image objects is blank. The rest of the objects (text) retain their Notes. I have to re-enter the variable name in the Notes for the two image variable before I run the script again.
