I try fixing this with this step:

  1. Reinstall illustrator.
  2. Redownload VariableImporter.jsx

Hi,

Just had the same issue. All of a sudden the script started prompting that error. It's been working ok till now, now this.

Can you check in to it? I have a few hundred files i need to output and I'm stuck, haallp!

Reinstalling Illustrator doesn't fix the problem, neither redownloading the script.
