[Gallery, carousel widget] this.clip.size is not a function

Setup

• MW version: 1.37.2
• DB (MySQL etc.): 10.5.15-MariaDB
• PHP version: 7.4.6
• SMW version: 4.0.1
• SRF version: 4.0.1
• Browsers and versions (if applicable): Brave 1.39.111 (= Chromium 102)

Issue

The carousel widget of the Gallery output format is not rendered anymore. The console error is
Uncaught TypeError: this.clip.size is not a function at new $.jcarousel (<anonymous>:175:737)
Jquery's size() function seems to be deprecated, see this jcarousel issue.

Maybe related to #693?
