This is the current picture in Installing Certificate Extension but I think it should highlight Samsung Certificate Extension menu.

Also there should be explanation about setting this.

On the PR #1108, the issues reported are handled.

As the PR #1108 is approved and merged now, please check the updated pages :

They are on master branch now, and will be applied to docs.tizen.org within next week.

There has to be some step missing, as after following them, I'm still getting errors:

__return_cb req_id[1] pkg_type[tpk] pkgid[org.tizen.example.TizenWearableXamlAppTest] key[error] val[-12] error message: :Non trusted certificate is used. Register valid certificate:<-32>
__return_cb req_id[1] pkg_type[tpk] pkgid[org.tizen.example.TizenWearableXamlAppTest] key[end] val[fail]
processing result : Check certificate error [-12] failed

There should definitely be an explanation in VS Tizen Options stating what are the consequences of both enabling and disabling this checkbox + some button / highlighted text, which when clicked should install the certificate extension.
Perhaps this extension should be installed by default? This is especially important, as VS developers are used to doing significate part of the work from inside of VS, and there are many places on Tizen docs/developer sites, which have outdated Certificate Manager screenshots.

@marcinsmialek , if this option is not selected the default certificates will be used to sign the application, otherwise when this option is selected the settings provided here will be used to sign the application, the extension does not need to be auto installed as if the developer finds it sufficient to use the default certificates then there is not need for the extension to be installed

The tooltip already mentions this information.

tooltip
Hi,

The Visual Studio currently signs tpks with default certificate if the Certificate selection check box is unchecked.
This information is currently displayed if you hover over the tooltip as shown in image.
Please let us know if any doubts are there.

Thanks and regards
Alka
