As a young person I want to know when an exception error has happened and be told in a friendly-age appropriate way what has gone wrong

This is part 3 and dependent on part 2 [Exception handling check and refactor#72 completing first.

Expect before we start this ticket, we'd want to agree some basic messages for the key exceptions to be phrased in age-appropriate language.
we would want to ensure that we are adding in translatable strings for future support of translations
