While reading through unit 6 post any issues you find here.

Day 1: an activity involves identifying items from a picture. I'm not sure if this could be an issue. I think it would involve the helpers to explain what it is a picture of to students who are blind.
This also has two links that no longer exist/changed location:
http://www.teachersdomain.org/resources/eng06/sci/engin/design/lp_robot/index.html
http://www.teachersdomain.org/resources/eng06/sci/engin/design/kismet/index.html

I think
http://www.pbslearningmedia.org/resource/eng06.sci.engin.design.legorobot/lego-robots/
http://www.pbslearningmedia.org/resource/eng06.sci.engin.design.kismet/kismet-the-social-robot/
are the same thing but is the new link location. I'm not sure if this is actually the same because I've never seen the original.

Day 2-3: One activity has students being blindfolded and the trying to tie their shoes. I'm not sure if this is necessary.
Has one link that no longer exists: www.thetech.org/robotics/activities/page05.html
and I believe this link is the same https://www.thetech.org/exhibits/online/robotics/activities/page05.html

Day 4: The Lego Mindstorm activity has the teacher pointing to a picture where each item is in the kit.

Day 14: Students will need to play tic tac toe for this lesson. A set of materials (popsicle sticks or something) might be required to allow visually impaired students to play.

Day 16-18: This lesson has the students programing NXT bricks to partake in a dance contest. A dance contest does not seem very accessible to me and this entire lesson may need to be rewritten.

Day 19-23: Broken link for suggested strategies for making the rescue challenge. I could not find the file archived online but since it is just suggested building strategies it should be easy to preform without it.

Maybe instead of a dance off they could make some sort of sound/music off?

Hi,

It is ok to keep these there. But put a note that the pictures need to be described to the class, which is what we did today.

Thanks,
Steph
