Modify Project

Added two more components to the project:

• Optical Drive
  • Optical Drive is important because some laptop don’t have it.
• I/O Connections
  • I/O connections need to be known.
    • Sometimes laptops might not have hdmi/vga ports
    • USB ports could be 3.0 or 2.0
    • There could be either 2 or 3 USB ports
• Changed Video card to Graphics card

The four choices of computers they could look at are:

• Sony VAIO All-In-One
• Acer Aspire AXC-603-UR10
• Dell Inspiron 15r
• MacBook Pro

Maybe have a little alternative to the project.

-Instead of looking for a laptop and searching for the specs, how about they build their own desktop with the specs they want?
This can be an upgraded version of the project.
-I would say this would be a little more advanced because the students would have to know what each component is in order to build their own.
-This alternative might take a little longer since they would have to research the components they want that would fit the motherboard of their choice.
