Currently, our contributors guide coverage is limited to how to use conda to set up a your local environment. It should probably provide references to our yet-to-be-written tutorial material on how to use git/GitHub, and the workflow process (e.g. GitFlow, Forking workflow, etc.) we want contributors to use to submit a PR.
