Code of Conduct for OpenTeens

Our Pledge

  • Inclusivity: We pledge to make participation a harassment-free experience for everyone.
  • Diversity: We welcome participants regardless of various personal attributes.

Our Standards

Positive behaviors include:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language.
  • Respecting differing viewpoints and experiences.
  • Accepting constructive criticism gracefully.
  • Focusing on what is best for the community.
  • Showing empathy towards other community members.

Unacceptable behaviors include:

  • Sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual attention.
  • Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, personal or political attacks.
  • Public or private harassment.
  • Publishing others' private information without explicit permission.
  • Inappropriate behavior in a professional setting.

Our Responsibilities

  • Enforcement: Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying standards and taking action against unacceptable behavior.
  • Authority: Maintainers can remove, edit, or reject contributions that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct.

Scope

  • Applies within project spaces and in public spaces when representing the project or community.

Enforcement

  • Reporting: Instances of abusive behavior can be reported to the project team at [your contact email].
  • Confidentiality: All complaints will be reviewed confidentially.
  • Actions: May include temporary or permanent repercussions for those who do not comply.
