@ptestor commented that "old gliders had unpumped ctd" to table one and suggests to make a (X).

It is not possible to buy them anymore like this? For sure many of them are still in use and there are also benefits of not being pumped i.e. microstructure measurements etc. so i suggest to keep it like it is.

I agree with Pierre.
Maybe a (G1) should be added to distinguish the generations. Also for the GPCTD (G2 and G3) or (>=G2)

Whether they can still be bought, I do not know. But Seabird does not think unpumped CTDs can make reliable high quality measurements because of the unclear flow through the cell. Seabird basically does not want to produce and sell them anymore. Already for a long time. Whether they still do produce some or have leftover stock, I do not know.

Thanks Gerd. Indeed maybe a good suggestion is to make the table more specific in terms of G1, G2 and G3 etc...
