improve diff merging #14

Right now, the diff reduction pass does a blind dilation, but it should probably dilate tiny diffs before dilating big diffs.

I.e. the "related tags" on the right in the follow screenshot is just a move, but that gets lost due to diff merging.

Pomax added post-MVP enhancement and removed post-MVP labels
