Especially for visibility, it makes sense to allow elements to define their own url slugs instead of simply using the primary key. Both arbitrary numbers & base64-encoded uuids are not particularly easy for a human to read, while something like:

  • https://fairshake.cloud/rubric/universal_fair_metrics/
  • https://fairshake.cloud/project/agr/

Would be quite nice.
We could falling back to smaller the id or smaller non-colliding slugs.
