I cannot find the log files in homebridge to get the token

I normally type "homebridge" to run if that helps anyone. I tried all the normal commands in homebridge wiki but it just says file cannot be found.

The token, for me, showed up in the output to the console when running homebridge. I couldn't find that in any of the docs. I am running in macOS.
