Can I ask what the goal is here? A jupyter widget that lets us synchronize python VTK objects from the kernel to vtk.js?

There are a number of projects that provide Jupyter integration in some way, some as ipywidgets talking to a Python kernel, synchronizing Python VTK objects, some as pure client-side JupyterLab extensions. We need to document these along with documentation on how to create a vtk.js-based Jupyter extension or widget. Typescript support is important here, which has some availability, but xref'ing #2459
