Someone should update this package to use https://github.com/JuliaBinaryWrappers/CALCEPH_jll.jl instead of the very old BinaryProvider

Yes, and additionally, the CALCEPH_jll version should also be updated to the latest one (3.5.3 of September 2023).

I've made a pull request #11 that should solve this issue. In the meantime I also suggest to have a look to Ephemerides.jl, which like CALCEPH reads binary ephemeris files but is completely written in Julia!

Thanks @MicheleCeresoli for the PR. It is now merged and a new release 1.2 was created.
