I think it could be very useful if users could define themselves Mathjax configuration, in particular the part:

tex: {
    packages: {'[+]': ['tagformat']},
}

The point is that several important Latex packages (braket, physics, etc.) have been ported to Mathjax but are not available in the preview (even following the link in #914). For example, the package braket should be automatically loaded if the extension autoload is loaded (see the doc), but this is apparently not the case since the command \ket{} is not defined.

I have read previous requests for this: #914, #991, #2623. Note that my feature request is different: I am not asking for implementing a specific package or way to load Latex packages (which is not possible in Mathjax), but to be able to configure Mathjax (and which Mathjax packages are loaded).

Out of the scope of the extension.

The document is about MathJax v3. Since v3 is not mature, we are still using MathJax v2. When migrating to MathJax v3, we will think of the option.
