I just compiled on Windows x64 release - vs2019
Problem occurs when selecting a directory for a new project
After that it crashed, when I opened it again it crashed, I need to delete the configuration file in the userdata directory

Not surprised. This project has been dormant for a long time. Happy to answer questions, but I don't think anyone will be debugging this for you. PR's are welcomed!

Could you tell me if there are any required assets to use this? Because I can't even run the demo projects

Hm, no, I think the Shooter demo worked best of all of them. Some of the others may be incomplete.

It doesn't look like there is a way to load or create a project with the editor as things stand.
