Please describe your issue as accurately as possible. Include screenshots or videos if relevant

Software information

Game: Disney Speedstorm. I tested low and medium settings. The game shows black squares on characters and cars, and the performance is also really poor when compared to native Windows (though that's another issue). Please check the attached screenshots:

  • GPU: Intel Corporation Iris Plus Graphics G1 (Ice Lake) [8086:8a56] (rev 07)
  • Driver: Mesa 24.1.7
  • Wine version: 9.0-202 (Experimental)
  • VKD3D-Proton version: 1.12
  • Kernel: Linux 6.10.11-200.fc40.x86_64
  • Distro: Fedora 40 Plasma
  • Steam: Flatpak

Since you're on Intel, can you test if the same issue occurs on AMD or Nvidia, since Intel support for vkd3d-proton is known to be spotty?

I tested on a system with AMD (RX 570 4GB) and the issue is gone. This is specific to Intel Graphics.

Both systems are using the same distro (Fedora 40) and DE (KDE Plasma 6.2).
