A request about summons with spells/golden skull

The demons summoned with the golden orb of death are quite useless, I was hoping for a small demon army but for the short duration they are on the map they do sqat, just buff/debuff(me included) and leave just having wasted my turn summoning them, the elementals are better since they start doing their job on turn one.

Maybe a new house rule option about summons not using magic or innate spells or whatnot
