Dear Moonglade Community,

We are excited to share an important update regarding the future of Project Moonglade. Starting with our next major release, we have made the decision to align Moonglade with the latest Long-Term Support (LTS) version of the .NET SDK. This means that Moonglade will no longer target Standard-Term Support (STS) versions of .NET.

By focusing on the latest LTS version of .NET SDK, we aim to provide our users with enhanced stability, security, and long-term support for their development projects. This strategic shift ensures that Moonglade remains at the forefront of the .NET ecosystem, leveraging the most reliable and feature-rich tools available.

Here are a few key benefits you can expect from this change:

Stability: LTS versions of .NET SDK undergo rigorous testing and bug fixes, resulting in a more stable development environment for Moonglade users. This will help reduce unexpected issues and improve overall reliability.

Security: Staying up-to-date with the latest LTS version of .NET SDK ensures that Moonglade benefits from the most recent security patches and vulnerability fixes. This commitment to security will safeguard your projects and protect them from potential threats.

Long-Term Support: LTS versions of .NET SDK receive extended support from Microsoft, providing a reliable foundation for Moonglade's long-term development roadmap. This ensures that you can continue to build and maintain your projects with confidence.

We believe that this strategic decision will enable us to deliver a more robust and future-proof development experience for the Moonglade community. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to sharing the benefits of this transition with you.

Thank you for being a part of the Moonglade community, and we are excited to embark on this new chapter together!
