Good catch!

Initial investigation:

COB in OLS is up to date.
No hierarchical relations are used.
No reasoner is configured, which means OLS will use structural reasoner which should match Protege, since this is used in Protege.

I will be surprised if this is the only ontology in OLS where owl:Thing is used as filler.

Need to investigate further.
