Crash on startup

I've just tried to get spreadpi running on a new Pasberry Pi 2 and get the following error:

I've managed to run standard Raspbian on the device so I know it works OK. I just seem to be having issues with the spreadpi distro (running the latest version as of 15 August).

Any ideas of what I can try?

There used to be an issue on the standard build that made it much more
unstable on a Pi 2. I thought that it was fixed. As a workaround, you
can try out my Archivist build which is built in a different way (it
goes on top of Raspbian rather than being a custom build).

If that works for you, then that means this is a bug in SpreadPi. If it
doesn't work, then there are deeper issues with either Spreads or your
hardware.

OK - Tested your archivist build and everything boots up fine and the spreads interface comes up. So I'm up and running but if there is anything I can do to help resolve the SpreadPi issue then let me know.

I was having a problem with getting SpreadPi to work with a RaspberryPi 2
and I saw this and installed it and now the program appears to be working.
The problem I'm now having is that neither of my cameras
are turning on. They are both Canon CD1400 IS's and I put CHDK on both.
It's strange that neither will turn on. Both have memory that I put in with
odd and even txt files. Any ideas on what I should look at?

Hi. You need to turn on your cameras by hand. At that point, they should
be visible to Spreads and it should be able to control them. If you are
still having troubles with this, it might be a good idea to open a
separate issue and document exactly what sequence of events you are
getting so we can get more insight into what exactly has gone wrong.
