We currently use sphinx-book-theme launch buttons and Thebe to make pages that are generated from Jupyter notebooks 'runnable' in the browser (e.g. linking to Colab or Binder). It would be faster, though, to run the notebooks directly with WASM with pyiodide. Some relevant links:

@shenvitor I was mentioning this issue. Seems that the way to go forward is to use the new jupyterlite-sphinx
