After a couple of seconds of no speech, google speech recognition stops working.

I don't think we'll ever be able to solve this problem. Might be Google itself and not us. but idk.

We can possibly find a way to get around that by using a timer or something that tests for the timeout and starts the listener once again.

oh so like, if there's no sound being detected by the microphone or audio input source, start the listener again. that could work.
