Simulating currents in indian ocean

Hello,
I am a masters student in oceanography. I would like to simulate Wyrtki Jets (eastward flowing surface currents in indian ocean particularly seen in April, May, October and November) from 1993 to 2018 using Oceananigans. The features of these jets are;

1. WJs are only seen at the equator. it flows from west to east.
2. it spans from 40°E to 101°E and 2°N to 2°S.
3. No coriolis force involved.
4. Driven by sea surface winds (westerlies that blow from west to east).
5. A sample image of WJs using satellite observations
   

I am totally a beginner in ocean modelling. Please help me to build a model to simulate these WJs.
