I was wondering whether observational datasets should be included in the cosima database. E.g., AVISO+ (ssh) or NOAA-OISST (sst). Although these may not be used explicitly by the Cosima models, often it's good to have them available to "benchmark" how the model compares with observations.

Any thoughts on this? Any other datasets that could be of use?
