The current gamma-function based UH type hillslope routing may be limiting performance due to the lack of sensitivity of timing to runoff magnitude. Exploring other parsimonious approaches that include such runoff sensitivity while also allowing for DEM/LC based derivation of a priori parameters may be warranted.
