TODAY is being stripped by validation regex for author date limits
related to CCALI/a2jviewer#255

due to

a2jauthor/src/pages-tab/components/page-fields/page-fields.stache

Line 116 in 46c6c1f

on:blur="field.field.max = applyPattern(scope.element)"
which will actually strip all non-numeric characters and collapse the remaining numerics into a string.
