After AcademySoftwareFoundation/OpenCue#604 is merged, we should add new dedicated guides for the following setup steps:

  • Setting up the database
  • Deploying Cuebot
  • Deploying RQD
  • Checking out the source code
  • Installing PyCue and PyOutline
  • Installing CueGUI
  • Installing CueSubmit

I've got basic notes for this; will submit some fleshed-out docs soon.

Thanks @Porges, that would be awesome and I'll be happy to help review and incorporate into the rest of the docs!

I’ve just realized the intent here was a setup guide for end-users, whereas I have instructions for setting up a development environment. We probably need both 🙂

This came up in the last TSC actually and I believe the conclusion was to split dev/user guides

Hello. I am relatively new to open source. Could you pls let me know if this issue can be assigned to me ? I can surely update the docs well. Thank you.
